Avondale Type Company: Artist Series
The Chicago based type foundry Avondale Type Company, hosts an artists series. Where artists from all over are welcomed to submit type based work using one of their fonts. The guidelines are simple, using the artists initial, a symbol, the ATC logo and ATC font, the rest is up to the artist to interpret.
Based on previous sketches I’ve done. I wanted to fuse three components: my texture photography, cubism, and typography.
